I have not put away my broom from Halloween yet because I still need it on a daily basis. It's about to get worse as tomorrow officially opens the start of hunting season--hunting for Christmas presents that is. And not my own, although I need to do that as well. The next month will virtually be a fog as it has been for the past two Novembers. I try to remember to be thankful that people are buying our stuff. We'll see how I'm feeling on the gratitude scale come about the last week of November when I stand in the garage late at night on the verge of tears wondering how we ever got into this mess. It's sad but true. Happens all the time. On the bright side, we have some wholesale interest in our LDS book so it will be interesting to see where that lands next month.
Here's hoping for a good hunting season. Oh and I do have a trophy to hang on the wall but it's a beautiful cloth handmade Santa wall hanging with old fashioned Christmas lights around the border made by our quiet book manufacturer. I can't wait to find it a home. I love that we have a built in factory so to speak. I decided a few days ago that it would be fun to have a quiet book made for each of the kids featuring activities around their interests. Spencer's will mostly highlight his latest passion of the Mon (monster) truck. He goes around the house singing "Go on and drive that mon (monster) truck!" while moving enthusiastically to the beat. If I do a mon truck book I'll be sure to let you know how I incorporated Grave Digger.
If I'm silent for a time, just know that I'm at a show stocking up on Bud's Corn Sauce--one of my favorite finds from last year's round of shows. I must say that you meet and see some interesting folks in these circles. Mostly interesting in a good kind of way but every now and again. . .
